I was born and raised in Shaver Lake and have enjoyed the mountains all of my life. I was introduced to the real estate business in the 1960’s by my grandfather who owned and operated Ivie’s Market and Ivie Realty in Shaver and later became the area Judge. I tagged along as he did all of the appraisals for Guarantee Savings and other banks and once in awhile when he was showing property. My grandmother was the Post Master after taking over for Velma Harshman in the 50’s. I obtained my sales license in 1970 while attending Cal Poly SLO and worked at Morro Bay Realty until I finished at Cal Poly and obtained my broker’s license in 1973. I returned to Shaver and purchased Shaver Lake Realty from Amos Wood as he migrated to Morro Bay to retire. In 1975 I took on a partner who owned the Century 21 J & J Real Estate franchises in Fresno. We purchased a C-21 franchise for Shaver. I operated the Shaver office as the managing broker and eventually opened a second office in Auberry. Through all of the economic fluctuations to follow I always kept my license active and my finger on the pulse of the market. I still love to work with the people and the property in the mountains and appreciate the office support at Pinnacle and the professionalism of the staff. They’re the best, which is why I joined them. Things have changed immensely since I started in the business, but it has always been a “people business” and always will be.

I’ve had the privilege of calling Shaver Lake home since 1955 when my grandfather, Jack, built one of the first cabins in the East Village. It’s a place that has held a special spot in our hearts, a place where my family has made cherished memories for generations and still enjoys today!

Born and raised in Clovis, CA, my love for Shaver Lake drew me back to this picturesque community full-time in 2002 when my husband, Sean, and I decided to make it our permanent residence, along with our two wonderful daughters. Shaver Lake’s incredible beauty, diverse lifestyle, year-round recreational opportunities, and warm sense of community have enriched our lives beyond measure.

Our family has a deep appreciation for the outdoors, our favorite hobbies include spending summers on the lake, snowmobiling and skiing in the winter, embarking on off-road adventures, hiking, traveling, and sharing stories around a campfire with family and friends.

For over two decades, we have owned and operated various small businesses in our local area. Through these experiences, I have learned the values of versatility, resilience, dependability, hard work, and the fact that true success often lies just beyond our comfort zones.

Originally from San Diego, I moved to Shaver Lake in 2017 after meeting my husband, a proud third-generation tree cutter who was born and raised in this beautiful mountain community. My first visit to Shaver Lake was unforgettable—I immediately fell in love with the stunning scenery, the endless outdoor activities, and most of all, the warm and welcoming community that made me feel at home from the start.
As an outdoor enthusiast, I thrive in Shaver Lake’s natural playground, enjoying everything from hiking and mountain biking to stand-up jet skiing, snowboarding, and riding ATVs. This place has become more than just a home; it’s a lifestyle that I cherish every day.

I am a native of the Fresno/Clovis area and had the privilege of also living in Kansas, Wyoming, Hawaii, and the bay area before moving to the Tollhouse area approximately twenty-one years ago. I spent a lot of time at Shaver Lake, and China Peak skiing with friends.

I raised my son in the Clovis area before we both moved to the Tollhouse area, where I have enjoyed watching my three grandsons grow up. My faith, family, and friends are my number one priorities and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, boating, and going to the coast.

I come from a background of contractors and enjoyed spending time with my dad on the job sites. I took an early interest in the building industry, including the buying and selling of real estate. I bought my first home when I was eighteen. While still in college, with a major in business administration, I started my career in the hospitality industry, managing several different restaurants and country clubs, as well as owning two different restaurants, including Humphrey Station. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my foothill neighbors during that time.

I first started my real estate career approximately thirty-three years ago, but continued in the restaurant industry, while never losing my love for real estate. When I decided to retire, I knew I would be bored, so it didn’t take long to know I wanted to continue my passion in real estate.

I am very versed in not only the foothill and mountain communities, but also Clovis and Fresno, as well as YLP. I pride myself on a very high standard of ethics, honesty and professionalism. I was born in Redwood City, CA and moved to Chowchilla, CA in 2006. From a young age, my family always took the time to take trips out to show my brother and I the great outdoors. At around four years of age, I learned to ski in these very woods at China Peak. Years later, I’d come to work as a supervisor at the same resort I’d come to love as a child. This lovely resort also introduced me to my wonderful fiancé.

I am very grateful to be able to work in an area like this. Every season is a beautiful shade to look forward to, and there’s always something to keep you busy. From the golden hues of fall to the cool tones of winter, the natural beauty here is abundant. It’s a pleasure to call such a gorgeous place home.
